Thanks Slographic, best way to learn is by just looking at others work to try and reach that level of realism. Here's a link to my site: www.global3dee.com the interiors are mine, exteriors are my colleagues. you could also try following Stuart Lynch's tutorial which is downloadable as PDF and worth reading. here: [link]

Let me know how you get on.

Regards,

George

ps. I never do any PS work on my images :-)

Thanks a lot for the links, I've been learning v-ray just recently myself so it's great to see other's settings :D Here's my first, modeled in Blender 2.6 and imported into C4D and V-Ray:[link]

V.Realistic lighting... you must have your rendering done to a fine art!

In this render i use only sun light (ext.light), without int. lights. I will try rendering with your settings and add some int.light. By the way, very nice lights in those images and thx for advice

What GI settings are you using? seems that there's something missing, possibly shadows apart from the ones created by the ext light. you need to add some int lights, it's just to dark.

I have a post on the vray forum site with my settings on page 1 and screen shots on page 2: [link] have a look at it. May help. Let me know how you get on :-)

It looks a bit too deliberately made.
But it pleases me well.
